Making a change in the community

A warm welcome from Veterans Response CIC!

We're a community-driven organisation with a heart for our heroes. Our mission is simple but powerful: to make the transition from military to civilian life as smooth as possible for our veterans and their families. We believe everyone deserves a supportive community and a chance to thrive, no matter their background.

How do we make this happen? Through a wide range of services, from career training and guidance to mental health support and social events. We're not just about helping veterans find their footing—we're about building strong connections and a sense of belonging that benefits everyone in the community.

“Veterans Active South Tyneside”

We are happy to announce that we have secured a grant from Sports England to fund the project ‘Veterans Active South Tyneside”

South Tyneside veterans need a boost! Studies show a high prevalence of disabilities, neurodiversity, and PTSD among veterans in our region. Existing resources are limited, and the cost-of-living crisis further restricts access to support. "Veterans Active" tackles this head-on!

Our program offers adapted fitness classes specifically designed for these veterans. Research indicates that exercise combats social isolation (a major issue for veterans in South Tyneside) and improves mental and physical health. This is crucial for veterans facing these challenges.

"Veterans Active" serves veterans acros, addressing a documented need in our community and helping our heroes lead healthier, more connected lives.

Make an impact

Dear Friends and Supporters,

Your generosity can make a tremendous impact on the lives of South Tyneside veterans. With a high prevalence of disabilities, neurodiversity, and PTSD among our local heroes, the need for accessible support and resources is greater than ever.

However, we can’t do it alone. Your donation will help us continue offering these vital services and expand our reach to support even more veterans. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us make a difference.

Thank you for your kindness and support.
