Join us for a special Remembrance Football Match — a day where sport, service, and remembrance come together. This event is more than just a game; it’s a tribute to the brave men and women who have served our country, past and present.
By attending, you’ll be part of a community showing unity, pride, and respect for those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Veterans and serving members are encouraged to wear their military uniform or regimental attire as a mark of honour — and to receive FREE entry as a small token of gratitude for their service.
Come along, stand together, and help keep their memory alive.

Veterans Response CIC & South Tyneside Council are proud to Showcase this fantastic event
Get ready for a family fun day packed with events as we celebrate our incredible Armed Forces on 22nd June.
This is a free event to show South Tyneside Council’s appreciation for our Armed Forces and for everyone to join and have a fantastic day out.
Head down to Bents Park for a community day started by the Uniformed Parade, followed with fairground rides, live music, face painting, stalls and more activities for all age groups.
The Uniformed Parade will depart Gypsies Green at 10:30am, led by Westoe Brass, making their way along Sea Road to Bents Park for a short service in the park, prior to the family fun activities.

Come and say to the fabulous Mrs Brown and also meet the team and support our veterans Foodbank. We currently support 40 veterans every week along with their families. We are simply looking to food donations as we are low items such as tinned carrots tinned veg pasta sauce sugar tea and coffee along with male & female hygiene products. Yes will will of course will be playing our famous military tunes so yes singing & dancing
